About Offgriddiva/Queen of Da Woods
Our Story
Queen of Da Woods/Offgriddiva began as a personal journey rooted in family, healing, and rediscovery. Before the pandemic, founder Crystal Renee stepped away from her fast-paced Atlanta business lifestyle to care for her father, a decision that led her back to land connected to her Gullah Geechee and Native American roots and closer to nature.
During the pandemic, she reconnected with her Gullah Geechee heritage, cooking traditional foods from scratch while also experimenting with Indian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, and Caribbean cuisines — blending culture, creativity, and self-sufficiency through outdoor cooking and simple living. After personal loss and recovering from COVID, nature became a place of spiritual renewal and reflection, inspiring a permanent shift toward intentional living.
Now living full-time on her land outside Atlanta, Crystal created Offgriddiva | Queen of Da Woods to help others slow down, reconnect, and experience life through nature, heritage, food, and meaningful connection.
